Well, the Mother Zone, will serve the purpose of the latter, while this blog will be used specifically for apologetics. This blog was originally created to compliment my nearly decade old website, "The Truth About Kwanzaa." But not only will the pagan celebration of Kwanzaa be scrutinized on this blog "Christocentric," but any other topic that treads upon contradicting the principles found in God's word, the Bible.
Anyway, here's the introduction that you will find as the first post on my "Mother Zone" blog:
One of my treats for myself in having an approaching empty nest, is creating a place where I can share my experiences of motherhood. Both as a married wife, then as a single-parent, both good and bad, failures and victories. A separate place to fulfill the scriptures admonition for me as an older woman to "teach the younger woman." (Titus 2:3-4)So if any of you are ready to jump into discussions or just lurk around for some interesting things on the family, then please do stop on by the "Mother Zone!"
This blog is an offshoot to my "Christocentric" blog, which was started from a series of writings that I've done about various Christian topics from an apologetic point of view. But this topic is different, with an emphasis on sharing, teaching, and helping of the young and the old, woman to woman from a Christian perspective.
Dads are also welcomed to post as information will be available on this blog that will help them too! And especially the single dad who may need an extra little help from a mother's perspective.
And oh yes, because I don't have ALL the answers, please do jump on in and share your wonderful words of wisdom! Oh the fun we'll all have in discovering the path to being the best moms (and dads) that we can possibly be!
Blessed mom of five,
Carlotta
PS - In case some of you may have noticed, I did change the template of this blog to a font type and color that is hopefully easier on the eyes for reading.
PS2 - You may have noticed an addition to this blog's profile, my elder daughter, Anitra. She's an apologetic as well and wants to add some writings of her own. I don't know when that will be, but be on the lookout -- for Ms. Anitra! (She put her occupation as being my daughter...very funny Ms. Lady!)
